<\/span>He was relieved by Dominic Danetti<\/b>, who threw four dominant innings out of the ‘pen for his first save–he allowed only two hits.<\/span>

<\/span>Bridgeport took an early 1-0 lead in the second inning, but the Golden Lions quickly responded with two of their own in the second. Rob Costanzo<\/b> drove in a run with a ground out to second base. Tyler Piccolo<\/b> gave Dowling the lead with an RBI double.\u00a0<\/span>

<\/span>Bridgeport did tie it up in the fourth with a run-scoring single, but again the Golden Lions wouldn’t allow them to enjoy prosperity.\u00a0<\/span>

<\/span>Adam Schuster<\/b> doubled down the RF line to score Matthew Maschovas<\/b> and Piccolo. That ended up being the difference. Bridgeport did inch closer in the fifth inning with a run, but that was it.\u00a0<\/span>

<\/span>Dowling added an insurance run in the sixth on an RBI triple by Piccolo, who finished 2-for-4 with a run scored and two RBI.\u00a0<\/span>

<\/span>They will host Adelphi tomorrow, in hopes of improving on their 6-3 record.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
