Despite collecting nine hits to the Hokies eight, runners left on base killed the Seawolves, who left 11 runners on base during the game.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Only one Seawolf collected an RBI in the game. <\/span><b>Brett Paulsen <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">scored <\/span><b>Cam Santerre<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> on a walk. The Seawolves are 3-6 and will continue their series vs. Virginia Tech on Saturday.\u00a0 Hofstra 10 – New Mexico 9\u00a0 An eighth inning explosion fueled the Hofstra University Pride past the University of New Mexico Lobos 10-9 on the road. Trailing 6-3 entering the eighth, the Pride offense erupted for seven runs to take a 10-7 lead. And despite a last ditch comeback effort by the Lobos, the Pride were able to hang on for the upset victory on the road. Three Pride players drove in multiple runs. Alex McCoy, Will Kennedy and Sean Lane each had two RBI\u2019s in the game. While Santino Rosso, Luke Masiuk and Michael Florides each drove in one. Matt Pelcher also contributed offensively for the Pride, going two for four and scoring a pair of Hofstra runs.\u00a0 Michael O\u2019Hanlon was the Pride starter, he tossed 5.2 innings, struck out five, walked two and allowed four runs on five hits. The Red Storm, despite giving up seven hits in the contest, hold the Bearkats off the scoreboard, en route to their third win on the season to bring their record back to .500.\u00a0 Jimmy Keenan led the Johnnies with two RBI\u2019s, while Jackson Tucker brought in the only other run. Anthony Brienza led the Red Storm in hits with two. Xavier Kolhasser started the game and was fantastic. Kolhasser tossed six scoreless innings with five strikeouts and six hits. Kolhasser also didn\u2019t walk a single batter in a winning performance.
