Tyler Honahan started, but was not his dominant self. He allowed three runs on five innings, allowing eight hits and two walks. The bullpen did a tremendous job to hold the fort–with Teddy Rotliff throwing five shutout innings to record his first win of the season.The Sea Wolves fell behind early and trailed 3-0 in the top of the fifth but chipped away on an RBI ground out by Bobby Honeyman. For the second time in a week, they have gotten their player voted No. 1 in Baseball on the Island’s March Awards. It is not to say that Cody McPartland is not deserving–his numbers certainly jump off the page. They were victorious 10-1.Only two opposing batters did not succumb to Honahan once he got to two strikes.
