For the second time in a week, they have gotten their player voted No. 1 in Baseball on the Island’s March Awards. It is not to say that Cody McPartland is not deserving–his numbers certainly jump off the page. After yesterday’s seven inning outing against Queens, he is now 2-0, having thrown 27 innings, allowed only 6 ER (2.00 ERA), 20 hits, walked eight, allowed only one XBH and held the opposition to a .208 AVG.
