Logan O’Hoppe to Receive 2018 Axcess Man of the Year Award

It’s been a year of accomplishments for St. John the Baptist grad Logan O’Hoppe. First, he led the Cougars to the CHSAA Championship, then he was selected by the Philadelphia Phillies in the 23rd round of the MLB Draft and finally he was named 1st Team All-American Gold Glove Award winner by Rawlings. The latter of which was awarded to the top prep catcher in the country. Only three base runners attempted steals on him this season. He can add one more award to his mantle, as he was voted the 2018 Axcess Baseball Man of the Year by his peers, garnering 62 percent of the votes, edging out Anthony D’Onofrio and Matt Hogan.
