The first featured athlete was Josh Knoth. It hasn’t even been two years since there was a high-end pitcher at Kellenberg HS and they already have another. Sophomore Andrew Koshy transferred into the school from the Mineola school district and he already is generating some buzz. The hard-throwing righty had a dominating summer for Team Francisco Notorious 9. Despite often playing against older competition, his numbers were straight out of a PlayStation. Record: 9-1 ERA: 0.58 Innings...

by Andrew Connors (Editor’s Note: This is a game recap of the semifinal game, they went on to defeat Beast Crimson in the finals, 4-3) Jace Alvino talks with us about the display of power he put on tonight. pic.twitter.com/23yg055lFe — Axcess Baseball LI (@axcessbaseball) November 3, 2020 On a frigid November night of baseball, Team Francisco’s bats provided the heat in their 13-4 victory over the Steel Crimson. While both teams jumped on the scoreboard early, the Steel Crimson simply couldn’t slow down or keep up with Team Francisco’s high-powered offense. Tommy O’Neill was the starting pitcher for Team Francisco. Despite a rough first inning for O’Neill, he finished his outing with five strikeouts, four walks and only one earned run through three innings of work. He did a good job ...

Team Francisco Powers Its Way Past LIB

by Ethan Marshall Dylan Santucci on his 350+ foot homer: pic.twitter.com/eC0CRqsed3 — Axcess Baseball LI (@axcessbaseball) July 31, 2020 Team Francisco, led by Jaden Grose on the mound and Isaiah Marino and Dylan Santucci, among others, dominated en route to a 9-1 victory in five innings. Marino went 2-3 with a triple and inside-the-park homer and Grose tossed a complete game, striking out seven and allowing just one run on six hits. Perhaps the biggest play of the game came courtesy of Team Francisco’s cleanup hitter, Dylan Santucci in the third inning, when he blasted a solo homer over the fence in left field and beyond the fence of the neighboring field. The ball likely traveled more than 350 feet. After the game, Santucci jokingly guessed the ball traveled an estimated distance of 450 ...

Previously, we have featured Tyler Cook, Charles West, Jayden Stroman, Liam Stemmler, Paul Napolitano , Sadier Vicioso , Frank Kelly, Matt Gileno . None  of these players have appeared in a varsity game, but we are confident that they will soon. The series is Powered by The Yard Sports Academy, which you can check out here.) When it comes to the quickest path to the upper levels of baseball, there is nothing quite like the hard-throwing southpaw. Besides the fact that only 10 percent of the population is left-handed, an even fewer percentage of that is capable of firing a fastball above 85 MPH. So the ones that can do it are often rewarded for ...

9U Team Francisco Longhorns Cap Historic Season

The 9U team capped an incredible season this weekend with a dominant victory in the 10U Championship of East Coast Fall Finale. For the season they outscored their opponents by the score of 64-14.
