by Nick Cipolla 2022 was a step in the right direction for the West Babylon Eagles baseball program as they made the playoffs for the first time in 6 years. They finished with a 9-9 league record where they had to face some tough teams that contend for the playoffs every year like West Islip, Smithtown West, and nearby North Babylon. The Eagles are led by head coach Victor Manzella, who took over in 2020 after a stint at Babylon High School. Below are some of their team accomplishments. • 45-11 On the season • Ranked 60th in country by Perfect Game • Head Coach Joe Fusco • Won PG Super 25 Super Qualifier beating 3 nationally ranked teams at the time (SJ Young Guns #41 at time, Virginia Stars and Bronx Bombers) • Went to PG in Florida.
