Division-I: Hofstra shutout Manhattan 7-0, behind Adam Seibert and four relievers. Seibert started and went five innings, Adam Heidenfelder threw the sixth inning. Kevin Weissheier and his brother, Matt, both pitched one inning and Chris Weiss closed it out. Together, they allowed four hits and three walks while striking out 10. The offense got going early on Brad Witkowski’s RBI triple to drive in Steven Foster. In the third inning, Dalton Rouleau hit a sac fly to score Witkowski to make it 2-0. Wake Forest transfer Patrick Bryant (Center Moriches ’14) threw 6 shutout innings, allowing five hits, walked one while striking out two. He needed only 65 pitches.The offense got it going early and often. David Leiderman smacked an RBI double in the first inning to score Matt Anunziata. In the second inning, Anunziata hit an RBI double to score Jake Fallon.
