Baseball U broke the ice in the top of the 1st against Legend’s starter Cooper Blank by putting up 3 runs early. Joe Albano brought in Marco Diaz with a triple to left after Diaz got aboard to begin the game, Conner Lai followed up with a single to score Albano, and Vinny Gresko walked with the bases loaded later to get Baseball U off and running. Brooklyn Bonnies Pull Away Late in 8-3 Win Over Port Washington Legends

The game started off slow on the offensive side of the ball as there were some strikeouts and nice defensive plays preventing runners from getting on base. The starting pitcher from the Brooklyn Bonnies, Ahsan Torres, was locked in from the start keeping the Port Washington Legends offense at a halt. His counterpart, Cooper Blank, the starting pitcher for the Legends was keeping the Bonnies in check.
