Centereach Hopeful to Take Step Next and Reach Postseason
By Thomas Cregan Centereach head coach Pete Cammarata is looking to take the next step and reach the postseason in 2022. In his first two years with the program coach Cammarata and his Centereach team barely missed the playoffs by just one game in both years. However, in 2021 the team took a step back and won four games, but Cammarata is not discouraged and is looking to build off the experience his players have gained and continue to make strides toward success in 2022. Pete Cammarata Excited to Compete in 2021

Centereach head coach Pete Cammarata, entering his fourth season, expects that his team will be competitive this season. They are looking to break a postseason drought which spans a decade, but have come tantalizing close in 2018 and 2019 – as they needed just one more win to qualify each year. “We are going to be a competitive baseball team.
