Both pitchers were on their A game pitching to contact with the defense behind them making the plays Next Level would be able to break through in the second inning as they would be able to string together a walk and an RBI single from Collin Anderson to take the lead 1-0. The Lumberjacks would jump on the board early as they showed great plate discipline with the first 3 batters all working walks and scoring their runs on 2 hit-by-pitches and walks making the score 5-0. The Titans would get on the board first with 4 walks in the bottom of the first giving them a 1-0 lead. Alex Bono would hit an RBI single making it 2-0. Another run would score on a wild pitch giving the Titans a 3-0 lead at the end of the first inning. They would add to their lead in the second with back-to-back walks to lead off the inning followed by an Alex Bono 2-run single making it 5-0.
