Photo Credit: Vinny Messana In another low-scoring game for the Pride, David Leiderman provided the go-ahead two RBI single in the top of the 13th to give his team a 3-1 lead that would stand up.Freshman starter Adam Heidenfelder (MacArthur ’14) threw six shutout innings against Villanova, allowing two hits, five walks while striking out two.He did not factor in the decision due to the Pride not being able to muster anything on offense. Opposing starter Ryan Doty was very difficult and held the Pride off the board until the eighth inning. Senior ace Nick Kozlowski rebounded from a rocky start to complete six innings, allowing three ER while striking out five. “It’s awesome,” he said. “It’s amazing coming back and facing actual hitters instead of our guys in the cages like we did for two weeks.
