You can argue the validity of the 2020 World Series Champion, but there will be a trophy handed out regardless. I think most fans were of the school-of-thought that the award is only valid if it’s their team winning it. I think that a 60-game season is far too few games, but everyone was in the same boat. If you said the Red Sox have to play 162 but the Yankees are playing 60, then it’s a completely invalid award. It may be a joke of a season, but it’s our season – everyone had the same chance to win. With that being said, we are in the midst of the LCS. I really like the 7 games in 7 days.
