Recap of the 17x Sports x Axcess Baseball College Showcase
Our seventh annual College Showcase is in the books. It was held on Monday, January 20 at Max Effort Baseball in Farmingdale, NY. The turnout was great – roughly 20 colleges and 65 players were in attendance. All players had the opportunity to meet and speak with the college coaches of their choice during our interactive session. The talent was plentiful as many of the top uncommitted seniors on Long Island were in attendance. Q & A With JJ Palumbo
The phrases “it’s a grind” and “putting in work” often get overused. But when it comes to an athlete on Long Island that embodies what it means to be committed to improving, look no further than Clarke senior JJ Palumbo. The catcher/infielder transformed his body in just over a year – losing fat and putting on muscle – and turning himself into an impact player on Clarke’s team that played in the county finals this season – even knocking the game-winning hit in one of the games against Calhoun. Gameday USA Super Regionals Comes to Long Island
Register today for the 2019 Gameday USA Super Regionals Youth Tournament Showcase (being run in affiliation with MAX EFFORT BASEBALL) being played in Long Island JUNE 28 – JUNE 30th. All of the Teams Players (in all age groups) will have the opportunity to be identified by Gameday USA Scouts that tournament weekend; to be picked to play for the 2019/2020 JR ALL-AMERICAN Games hosted in Florida and Arizona by Gameday USA.
