St. Joseph’s Shuts Out Maritime in Crucial Skyline Double Header
The St. Joseph’s Golden Eagles had everything going right for them on Sunday as they took two 7-0 wins over Maritime. The pitching was stellar and the top of the order was electric.These two conference wins were huge for the Golden Eagles as they move to 13-7 on the season with a 7-1 conference record. These two teams will presumably be battling for the Skyline Conference up to the end of the season. You couldn’t have asked the top of the Golden Eagles’ order to be more productive in game one. Anthony Bonilla, Matt Burnett, Paul Britt, and Lou Doria combined for 11 hits, five RBI and six runs scored. Britt and Doria had monster days recording a combined seven hits between the two of them.
