The Bears scored three runs in the bottom of the first innings, thanks to two HRs–Josh Canabal‘s two-run shot to center and Louis Mele‘s solo bomb.That was all the offense that David Plotkin needed. He threw five innings, allowing two runs on four hits, four strikeouts while striking out four.
