Walk-Off Win for the Titans ! Aaron Stander scores on a wild pitch and the Titans complete a last inning comeback to win 7-6 pic.twitter.com/QRuhIYJgyu — Axcess Baseball LI (@axcessbaseball) October 7, 2018 Despite trailing by two runs entering the bottom of the sixth inning, Matt Nowlan was confident that his LI Titans would be able to mount a comeback with the top of the order coming up. He proved to be prophetic, thanks in large part to his game-tying two-run double to left center field, which was followed by a walk-off wild pitch that scored Aaron Stander to deliver a dramatic 7-6 victory for Titans to send them into the semfinals of the East Coast Columbus Day Tournament tomorrow against the Islip Owls. LI Titans pitcher Nicholas Incalcaterra after his dominant performance. pic.twitter.com/fJKkAXkjbB — Axcess Baseball LI (@axcessbaseball) August 8, 2018 The Long Island Titans tallied their seventh win of the season Wednesday evening behind a dominant performance on the mound by Nicholas Incalcaterra. The Titans defeated Long Island Baseball, 4-1, in a game where LIB only had two runners make it to second base. Incalcaterra pitched six innings of one-run ball, struck out eight, and allowed only three hits. After Incalcaterra struck out the side in the top of the first inning, the Titans didn’t waste any time putting runs on the board. In the bottom half of the inning, Phillip Krpata ledoff with a line drive base hit up the middle. Krpata then stole both second and third base. Two batters l...
Player of the game Spencer Warantz humbly gives credit to his teammates and discusses their solid 2-0 team victory. Warantz delivered the biggest hit of the game with a Solo HR to lead off the 4th inning. pic.twitter.com/eCuQXWa4og — Axcess Baseball LI (@axcessbaseball) July 25, 2018 The sky was dark and gloomy. It seemed inevitable that rain would take a day of baseball away from the 17u LI Titans-Gutes and LI Baseball. Both teams were determined, however, to get one by Mother Nature and play their Boys of Summer matchup. Despite the weather, the Titans and LI Baseball put together a picturesque 7-inning game that embodied the beauty of the sport. A performance highlighted by powerful pitching outings. A wet ball seemed to have absolutely no effect on this game. LI Baseball starting pitch...
Coach Parsolano on his team’s 4-3 victory over Next Level pic.twitter.com/Ljf5WzUA2j — Axcess Baseball LI (@axcessbaseball) July 10, 2018 When you have an abundance of quality arms, it makes life much easier. LI Titans Head Coach Paul Parsolano made that clear following his team’s 4-3 victory over Next Level Baseball on Tuesday evening at Mitchell Field. He brought in RHP Rob Milopsky (Rocky Point 2019) with runners on 1st & 2nd with 0 out in the 6th inning to protect a 4-3 lead after the previous four batters all reached base via hits to cut the lead to one-run. Milopsky came on and struck out the side in the sixth and cruised through the seventh inning with three ground outs. Milopsky stated that he knew when he came in with runners on he “needed to throw strikes to...

The LI Elite 2020 South were set to face off against the LI Titans Molinaro in the 16U American division of the Boys of Summer on Thursday at 6 o’clock on Thursday evening. An hour prior to the planned start time, there was some doubt regarding whether or not the game would be played. From about 5:00 to 6:00, there was constant, heavy rainfall, with booming thunder as lightning constantly flashed across the sky. The sun soon emerged, and played its part in helping to dry up the field. At approximately 7 PM, the game finally started. Lorenzo Petraglia led off for the Elite, and he worked a lead off walk against Titans pitcher, Anthony Hernandez. Jason Labrador followed up with a single, putting Elite in a position to strike early. The following batter, Mike Sullivan, reached on a fielder’s ...
Dylan Brid and the Rising Star Jr. Ducks defeated the Long Island Titans 4-0. Brid scored two of the Ducks four runs. pic.twitter.com/SRmEQMBg92 — Axcess Baseball LI (@axcessbaseball) June 23, 2018 It was a pitcher’s duel between the Rising Star Junior Ducks and LI Titans, with the Junior Ducks claiming the 4-0 win on Saturday. This game determined which team would move on in the Blue-Chip Prospects 18u Great American Classic tournament. The Junior Ducks came into the game with a 2-0 record, while the Titans were sporting a 1-0-1 record. The winner would advance to the tournament’s playoffs. Thanks to great pitching from Junior Ducks starting pitcher Bobby Vath, the Junior Ducks advanced in the tournament. In this low-offensive affair, both teams combined for seven hits and all seven...
The Long Island Titans made quick work of LI Baseball, winning 12-0 in a mercy rule shortened three inning game. Coach Eric Joyner said that his team was focused on “having a good approach with two strikes, moving runners over, and having productive outs” adding that “we were able to put the ball in the gap, we ran the bases well, and stole some bases when we had the opportunity”. He went on to further say “when you do all the little things well, everything comes together”. The Titans sent Jimmy Mahoney to the mound, and it was somewhat of a shaky start for him. He gave up a leadoff single, followed up by a walk. He then got the next batter to weakly line out. With one out, both base runners stole, putting themselves in scoring position. However, Mahoney worked his way out of trouble with ...
One of the top bats in the class of 2018 is now off the board with Will Feil (Wheatley 2018) committing to the University at Albany this evening. The third baseman with a sweet left-handed swing really rose his stock with a tremendous 2017 campaign in which he led Wheatley to the Class B Nassau County Championship over Oyster Bay. He went 3-for-3 in that game with three separate RBI hits. He also performed well this summer in the tournament and showcase circuit. Albany has shown an affinity towards Long Island players over the years with several of the top players choosing to attend there; notably Stephen Woods (Hills East ’13, San Francisco Giants draft pick). Feil will be with us in our inaugural Home Run Derby on September 9 at NYIT for Team Fontana.
