For the Storm, Ryan Solomon got the start and for Dodgers Nation, Billy Steinmann got the nod. Solomon showed early that he would be a pitcher that pounds the strike zone and pitches to contact after he tossed a quick 1-2-3 inning with three fly outs in the first. Knights Empire got things started early as they struck first in the top of the first. GAME RECAP: South Shore Elite and B1000 Seminoles Tie in Back-And-Forth Affair

by Chris Donnelly At MacArthur High School, a 15u Boys of Summer matchup went back-and-forth but ended up in 6-6 draw after 5 innings of play due to rain.  Six of the 12 combined runs occurred just in the 1st inning. The Seminoles loaded up the bases in the first inning. With 1 out, Zach Lam scored Ryan Jazylo with an RBI single. Nick Bodkin would then knock in another run with an RBI groundout and the Seminoles led 2-0. Chris Lonergan clears the bases with a double to make it 3-2 South Shore. It started in the first as both starting pitchers Quincy Gibbs (LIB Prime) and Chris Morrissey (LI Mudcats Black) both looked good early. Gibbs and Morrissey kept the game tied at 0 heading to the 3rd. The 3rd was when it got interesting as LIB Prime took the lead on a balk to go up 1-0 heading to the bottom of the inning.
