The action started early as Doug Davies came up in the top of the first with a man on third and two outs. Davies stayed back on an outside fastball and drove it the other way into right field for a 2 out RBI Single to make it a 1-0 LIB Select lead. B1000 Seminoles Cruise to Run-Rule Victory Over LI Orioles

By the time the third out was recorded in the third inning, they held a commanding 10-0 lead. They took a modest 1-0 lead in the first inning on an RBI single by Ryan Plocker, but the real fun began in the second inning for them. It was a game that included great defense and pitching as well as some very timely hitting late. By the end of the game the Seminoles came out with a 7-6 victory and this is how we got there. Both teams received outstanding starting pitching, for the Storm Left handed starter Xander Palmer was terrific. And for the Seminoles Sean Stoney was nearly untouchable.
