Titans starting pitcher Dylan Girard helped himself out by getting an RBI single to make the score 1-0 Titans at the end of the first. The Titans’ bats really woke up in the second as they got hits from Nick Murelli, Dylan Girard, Mason Miles, and a base clearing double from Roman Dixon. LIB-Prime Complete Double Header Sweep in Sunday Matinee

They started the game off hot with good discipline at the plate with a total of 5 hits and 2 walks in the inning making the score 5-0 before their pitcher even took the mound. Ben Cohen, Jacob Kouba, and Ryan Tullo all had RBI hits during the inning.  In the top of the fourth inning, LIB-Prime’s bats were at it again with back-to-back 2-run doubles from Ryan Buckhalt and Jacob Kouba to extend their lead to 9-0.  Sawyer Bogaty was basically untouchable for LIB-Prime until the fourth inning when Yeti was able to get bases loaded...

B1 Seminoles and Tri-State Arsenal Split Double Header

by Aaron Rothschild It was a great doubleheader between two impressive 15u teams yesterday at Eisenhower Park. The B1 Seminoles Black and the Tri-State Arsenal would play two games featuring some impressive fielding with a lot of balls put in play. The teams would split the double header in what was a matchup of competitive teams, this is how we got there.  The game started with Seminole starter Jake Duchovski pitching to contact and doing a great job with a solid defense behind him. He would fire a scoreless first. In the bottom half of the inning the Seminoles would find some holes and go for five runs in the first inning, highlighted by a two-run single off the bat of Battista.
