by Chris Prystupa FINAL: LI Titans: 8 Islip Owls: 0 Andrew Asaro fired a CG Shutout to seal the championship victory pic.twitter.com/BgAm2FVumn — Axcess Baseball LI (@axcessbaseball) August 20, 2022 The LI Titans-Robles became Boys Of Summer 15U National Division Champions as they shutout the Islip Owls 8-0 this afternoon. In what was a rather lopsided affair at Brentwood State Park, the Titans had it all working for them right from the very first inning. The first two batters of the game would reach base on a single and a hit by pitch, setting the table rather early against Owls Jaden Schmidt. On an attempted first to third pick off move the Owls couldn’t find an out, leading to the Titans drawing first blood. Joseph Scarabino would proceed to line one over the Owls first baseman to bring...

by Nick Cipolla Postgame interview with Michael Jazylo after his big performance on the mound for B1.000 Seminoles in the 16u National Championship @liboysofsummer pic.twitter.com/6EQsz17GKf — Axcess Baseball LI (@axcessbaseball) August 19, 2022 Michael Jazylo had a performance many kids dream of having when pitching in a championship game in tonight’s Boys of Summer 16u National Championship game against LIB Select Jazylo was a big reason why Batting 1.000 Seminoles Skoller were victorious, he threw a complete game, allowed one unearned run to cross the plate, made an incredible play with the glove to turn a double play, and struck out 10 batters in a 5-1 victory. The Seminoles offensive attack also played a big part in this game. Once they got an early lead, it seemed like the game was o...

Both teams are battling it out in the 15u National standings in the LI Boys of Summer, although today’s results did create some separation. The first came on a wild pitch that scored Nick Fiorentino and an RBI single to right field by Sea...
By Blake Buscemi Matt Tomasello takes us through his outing and how he led the Black Diamonds to a win today. pic.twitter.com/e0Plor1e2W — Axcess Baseball LI (@axcessbaseball) August 10, 2022 A 13u matchup between the B1000 Seminoles Okon and the Long Island Black Diamonds took place at PAL Complex on Tuesday. This was the second game of a doubleheader, so both teams needed to get the most out of their pitching. Matt Tomasello got the start for the Black Diamonds. Don’t let the height deceive you – his feel for pitching is as good as anyone in his age group. He promptly induced a groundout, flyout, and strikeout to go one, two, three in the top of the first inning. He faced off against righty Bryce Howes of B1000. He did not have bad stuff either, but the Black Diamonds were a...
The Ducks close it out on Yeti Baseball, inducing a groundout to end it. Each team added another run apiece, but it did not make a difference in the outcome. The righty with a downer curveball made it look easy in the first inning, promptly throwing a hitless frame. The Duck bats showed they were there to play, jumping out to an early 4-0 lead via hits from Jacob Abzug and Bradley Fruchter as well as walks from Ryan...
by Aaron Rothschild It was a great doubleheader between two impressive 15u teams yesterday at Eisenhower Park. The B1 Seminoles Black and the Tri-State Arsenal would play two games featuring some impressive fielding with a lot of balls put in play. The teams would split the double header in what was a matchup of competitive teams, this is how we got there. The game started with Seminole starter Jake Duchovski pitching to contact and doing a great job with a solid defense behind him. He would fire a scoreless first. In the bottom half of the inning the Seminoles would find some holes and go for five runs in the first inning, highlighted by a two-run single off the bat of Battista. After this Arsenal starter, Artie Green, would settle down. The score would remain 5-0 until the top of the ...
