In the 1st inning, starting pitcher Mac Fairbairn struck out the first 2 batters in what looked like to be a 1-2-3 inning until the Diamonds had other plans. There are many former Major Leaguers that have received more praise and notoriety than Jay Loviglio.  The East Islip native is just fine with that. The man who has been involved with every level of baseball has seen just about everything. He’s just not a fan of telling everyone about it.
