Christian Calabro fired a complete game shutout and also drove in 3 runs including a 2-R triple to break the game open pic.twitter.com/t4I2rIN5bu — Axcess Baseball LI (@axcessbaseball) September 5, 2022 There’s been no team more dominant over the past five seasons than the NY Longhorns. The 12u organization ran their overall record to 226-21 after their 12-0 shutout victory in the East Coast Labor Day Bash over the EEP Bandits. As can be seen by the score, they are not just winning tournaments, but they typically win in run-rule fashion against some of their toughest opponents. This game was particularly impressive, as they were able to chase the Bandits’ starting pitcher before recording an out. They posted four runs with the first coming on an RBI ground out by starting pitch...
Farmingdale Greendogs capture the 12u National Labor Day Bash with an 8-6 victory over Syosset Braves @EcybTournaments pic.twitter.com/BDXwJuiQbx — Axcess Baseball LI (@axcessbaseball) September 4, 2022 The Farmingdale Greendogs defeated the Syosset Braves by the score of 8-6 to capture the 12u National Labor Day Bash. They are one of the top town teams on Long Island and continue to win tournaments. The Braves took a quick 1-0 lead on an RBI single by Mason Mifsud on a rocket up the middle to score Alex Metaxas. The lead did not last long, though, as the Greendogs responded with a four-spot in the second inning. Gabe Cepeda got things going with a triple to left field and scored on Cole Ferraiolo‘s RBI single to RF. Cole stole second and Dominic Kloepping drew a walk. James Shelley ...

Both teams brought the energy in a rematch of Sunday morning’s pool play game in which the Chiefs came away with a 7-5 victory to enter the finals with a 3-0 record. In the top of the first inning, Team Francisco took a 1-0 lead on an RBI single by Joee “Moose” Agostino. Trey Alberto drew a two-out walk and stole second base before scoring on Agostino’s hit. ...

by Ethan Berch A great interview with the winning coach of LIB! 14-2 victory (F/4) pic.twitter.com/9UZDdXFtdj — Axcess Baseball LI (@axcessbaseball) September 7, 2020 Labor Day Weekend, some hot dogs, hamburgers, cold drinks and some championship baseball games! LIB Prime took on the Queens Marksmen in the Boys of Summer Labor Day Weekend 12u championship game. Cantiague Park in Long Island was busy when LIB put on an offensive explosion. LIB wasted no time getting on the board against the Marksmen starting pitcher Joey Veterano. They were able to put across two runners early following a drop third strike that got away which scored a run, and another error which put home another run. Paul Brito would then waste no time capitalizing on that when he ripped an RBI double over the center field...
B1000 Ferriggi captures the 10u Labor Day Bash Tournament @EcybTournaments pic.twitter.com/TuBbjIlHjB — Axcess Baseball LI (@axcessbaseball) September 7, 2020 Offense was on display in the finals of the 10u Labor Day Bash at Plainedge Park this afternoon. The B1000 Seminoles defeated the CN Rebels by the score of 12-4, as they got the bats going early and often against a talented Rebels team that won their first four games of the weekend. The Seminoles, who lost two games, qualified for the playoffs and ran with their opportunity and defeated the Farmingdale Greendogs to reach the finals. In the finals, they jumped out to an early 5-0 lead against Luke Walker. Leadoff batter Gus Sofronis singled to right field and moved to third on a double by DJ Dowling. Cleanup batter Fred Klauck scored ...
LIB Prime 12u entered the bottom of the third trailing 3-0 and exited leading 14-3. Coach Jon Cruz on his team’s offensive performance pic.twitter.com/Y8VnR3IHVv — Axcess Baseball LI (@axcessbaseball) September 6, 2020 Teams don’t often score double-digit runs in a single game let alone a single inning. It’s even more rare to do so when you’re getting shutout entering the inning. LIB Prime 12u is not like most teams. They have somewhat of a feast-or-famine offense that has been feasting of late. Coach Jon Cruz spoke about the team’s prolific offense calling it a “very talented bunch”. The explosion came in the third inning when they entered the inning trailing 3-0 and exited with a 14-3 lead. The first 14 batters reached base safely. They came away...
Coach Erik Kondak on B1000 Seminoles’ 10-5 victory to open up the Labor Day Bash @EcybTournaments pic.twitter.com/0H36LQ74yG — Axcess Baseball LI (@axcessbaseball) September 5, 2020 Coach Erik Kondak spoke glowingly of his team’s resiliency and ability to grind out at bats. Those qualities were on display in the sixth inning of their first game of the Labor Day Bash against the LI Storm on Saturday afternoon. They entered the inning with the game tied 4-4 and when the inning ended – they led 10-4 after a series of huge RBI hits. They held on to win by the score of 10-5. The game was scoreless after the two innings but the Seminoles broke through with four runs. William Shlomm started things off with a single to left field and moved to second on Lucas Lucchi‘s infiel...
The Farmingdale Greendogs are an impressive unit. Every time I watch them, they have a habit of either winning via run-rule or walk-off. Today it was the former. The 12U team won by a score of 15-0 over the East Coast Cannons during the Labor Day Bash hosted by East Coast Youth Baseball. Most impressively, they hit the 15-run mark with one out in the third so there was no indication they were done scoring. They did most of their damage during the third inning, where they came to the plate with a modest 3-0 lead. But let’s back track a bit. They sent James Sebber to the mound who, in my estimation, has to be one of the top 12u players around. He contributed on both sides of the ball today. He worked around a lead off single in the first inning to throw up a zero. The Greendogs went to bat i...
by Ethan Berch That’s the game! 13-12 victory for the Merrick Mayhem over the LI Storm! pic.twitter.com/MAjLbJC18r — Axcess Baseball LI (@axcessbaseball) September 4, 2020 When you think of 9 year old baseball and games that are only 1 hour and 50 minutes, what do you think of off the bat? How about 15 total runs in just 5 innings! In the first game of a Labor Day Weekend tournament in the Boys of Summer, the Merrick Mayhem took on the Long Island Storm in an offensive showdown. Kurt Rauschenbach got the start for Mayhem. The scoring started very early in this one when Lucas Pagnotta of the Storm ripped an RBI double to get them on the board 1-0. But without hesitation, Mayhem answered back with 4 runs in the bottom half of that inning off of LI Storm’s starting pitcher, Owen McCann. Hayde...
