Division-I:Hofstra was defeated by Villanova 3-1. The offense only mustered six hits against opposing starter Josh Harris, despite drawing four walks and striking out only once. The Pride’s starter, Chris Bonk, threw eight innings, allowing three runs on 11 hits while striking out three.Villanova got on the board in the first inning on an RBI single. They added two runs in the sixth inning to open up their lead. The Pride’s lone run came in the bottom of the ninth on a sac fly by Eric Ferguson.The Pride falls to 7-12.
