Leading 3-0 in the fifth inning with reliable Johnny Flannigan on the hill, it appeared that St. Dominic was on the verge of forcing a do-or-die Championship Game against St. John the Baptist. After a wild turn of events and a go-ahead two-run triple by Matt Lavin, it was a disappointing end to the season for the Bay Hawks.
