Although it was the first game of the tournament for the Bandits, the Titans came into this game with huge momentum, as they had just beaten the Long Island Junior Ducks 15-0 in their first game of the tournament earlier in the morning. The Titans would use this momentum to jump on the Bandits early. Ian Rivera (starter for Yeti) and Vincent Genovese (starter for Arsenal) both displayed their talent on the mound immediately, as they both tossed quick 1-2-3 innings in the first.
