Down 2-1 in the bottom of the fourth inning, Berthel sent a towering fly ball over the left-center field fence to give his Vikings a 5-3 lead, a lead they would never relinquish en route to a home victory.  The Vikings were the team to strike first, as after Dylan Alt doubled to lead off the game, and eventually scored on a sacrifice fly hit by Luke Walsh.
