After a scoreless first inning the Ravens took advantage of back-to-back to back errors committed by the Lions to jump out to a 2-0 lead. In the bottom half of the second inning the Ravens made one of the best decisions and summoned Andres Auffant out of the bullpen and never looked back. In a game featuring two Division-II programs known for their pitching in a conference dominated by pitching in a climate conducive to low-scoring games, this one bucked the trend and it turned into a football score in which the Franklin Pierce Ravens edged the Adelphi Panthers, 20-17.
