The game started with 3 scoreless innings as both Ben Walsh and Ethan Arita would make quick work of the opposing teams lineup. The LI Sharks could smell blood in the water as they were able to load the basses in the top of the fourth on a hit by pitch and 2 consecutive walks. Diamond Baseball Academy would get on the board early on a 2 out RBI single from catcher Eddie Bonilla in the top of the First. The LI Sharks would answer back quickly as they loaded the basses on a hit by pitch and 4 consecutive walks gave them a 2-1 lead. The Sharks would add a run in the second on an Owen Loomis RBI single giving the Sharks a 3-1 lead.
