Syosset Primed to Take Leap in 2024

The 2023 season had promise for Syosset Braves as they had a 7-6 record before losing two of their last three. In the Nassau AA playoffs, their season was stopped short by Farmingdale for the second year in a row. Coach Tom Morritt wants to improve in their upcoming 2024 campaign heading into his sixth season. “We didn’t start great,” Morritt explained. “We started 1-6 but then rattled off six in a row to get to 7-6 in league play. We ended up being eliminated in the playoffs by Farmingdale. It was a good season. We had many kids returning and many young kids who became big contributors. Recap of PBR’s Top Prospect Games: Long Island

It’s always exciting to team up with Prep Baseball Report on a Long Island event. Between their talented staff, state-of-the-art technology and our social media presence, it’s a perfect fit. Yesterday was their Top Prospect Games: Long Island held at Medford Athletic Complex and it featured 40 players from the region. Players were tested on their 60-yard dash times, they ran through infield/outfield drills and a round of batting practice before getting into a game. There was plenty of talent in attendance.
