The big game featured Merrick Mayhem-Galligan and New York Longhorns-Dorman. The Mayhem, led by Lukas Dunn and CJ Amato, took down the Longhorns in a 10-0 victory. For a game that lasted just four innings due to time constraints, there was no shortage of offense. The teams combined to steal 31 bases, 18 for the Junior Ducks and 13 for the Mayhem. Heading into Sunday’s game both teams held a 2-0 record in the tournament. Massapequa and Bayside each defeated the LI Junior Ducks and Mayhem Baseball Cohen in their respective matchups on Saturday. Although it was the first game of the tournament for the Bandits, the Titans came into this game with huge momentum, as they had just beaten the Long Island Junior Ducks 15-0 in their first game of the tournament earlier in the morning. The Titans would use this momentum to jump on the Bandits early.
