GAME ONE  It was a perfect morning for Autumn baseball at Vets Memorial Field in Saint James, with game one beginning at 9:00 A.M. GAME RECAP: 11u NBNM Rebels Defeat LI Bandits in ECYB Matchup

by Trevor Dugan The LI Bandits and NBNM Rebels faced off at Wantagh Park Saturday afternoon in an ECYB Fall matchup.  The Bandits grabbed an early advantage in the top of the first inning. The Rebels’ bats wasted no time getting the scoring started Saturday, striking for four runs in the first inning. The Rebels recorded just one hit in the first, but they also drew four walks, three of them with bases loaded, leading to three quick runs. The fourth run came across for the Rebels when Liam Hanley scored from third base on a wild pitch. Roslyn Bulldogs Defeat the LI Black Diamonds in a High Scoring Game at Wantagh Park

After a couple of walks to start the game they were able to get their first run on an RBI groundout, taking a 1-0 lead into the bottom of the inning.  The Black Diamond offense was able to answer immediately in the bottom of the first with four runs of their own, thanks to their heads up baserunning. 11u NBNM Rebels and Dodgers Nation – Redash Meet for East Coast Doubleheader

by Trevor Dugan 11u Dodgers Nation – Redash and the NBNM Rebels met at Wantagh Park Saturday evening for a doubleheader, as part of East Coast Youth Baseball fall league play.  GAME ONE Game one began at 4:00 P.M, and it was a hotly contested affair from the first pitch.  Dodgers Nation started J.J Schutte on the mound, while the Rebels tapped RHP Andrew Mulvey for the start.  The Rebels were able to score the first run of the day in the bottom of the first, but Dodgers Nation wasted no time responding.  With runners on second and third in the top of the second, a pickoff throw to second base allowed the Dodgers runner on third base to come in to score, tying the game at one.  The lead off man was able to reach base for the Rebels in the bottom of the second. They would face off against Team Francisco Notorious 9, who had survived a 10-9 duel with Mayhem Baseball-Berman earlier in the morning. GAME RECAP: Smithtown Bulls Show Resilience With DH Sweep over Farmingdale Greendogs

by Jacob Infald There is absolutely zero quit in the squad from Smithtown as this Saturday morning doubleheader showed why the Smithtown Bulls are at the top of the league in the East Coast 10U Summer Showdown National division. After overcoming a 9-0 deficit earlier in the season against the Sharks Baseball Academy, the Bulls demonstrated some more resilience today, including overcoming a 10-5 deficit in the last inning to sweep the doubleheader against a scrappy Farmingdale Greendogs team, winning two tightly contested games by scores of 5-4 and 11-10 respectfully to improve to 14-0 on the season. GAME RECAP: Smithtown Bulls Sweep Double Header From Sharks Baseball Academy

by Jacob Infald On the afternoon of June 22nd, the Smithtown Bulls took on the Sharks Baseball Academy in a highly-anticipated doubleheader in the East Coast 10u Summer Showdown National division. In two games, that seemingly were the polar opposites of one another, the Bulls won them both, 18-11 and 3-2 as they extend their winning streak to six wins to start the season, and the Sharks suffer their first two defeats of the summer.  Game 1 Coach Tom Viggiani and the player of the game Hunter Falcone. GAME RECAP: RVC Tigers Hold On For 4-2 Victory Over Queens/Nassau Lions

by Jacob Infald On the afternoon of June 9th, the RVC Tigers took on the Queens/Nassau Lions in a doubleheader on opening day of the ECYBL 9u Summer Showdown American League at Plainedge Park. In the first game of the doubleheader, a contest that featured strong pitching performances from both sides, the Tigers were able to manufacture enough runs to secure a 4-2 victory. The Lions were able to get on the board first after being able to manufacture a couple of runs early. After a strong first inning by their starting pitcher AJ Greene, Jonathan Raudales was able to hit a one out single to right field for the game’s first base runner.
