GAME RECAP: Titans Use 3rd inning Surge to Defeat the Lions

The Titans would end up victorious using timely and well placed hits, as well as solid defense in to lift themselves over the Lions 8-6. It wasn’t easy for the Titans though as the Lions would get on the scoreboard first in the top of the first. AJ Greene led off the game by walking. Brandon Leung and Lucas Appelbaum followed up Greene with two singles to load up the bases for Nicky Pergola. Pergola would work a walk to score the game’s first run. This game was jam packed with action right from the first pitch with constant pressure from both sides and a reluctance to give in at any point from both sides. This action started in the bottom of the first inning with the Bulldogs getting on the board first. Mayhem fell to Team Francisco in the first game by 1 run in a game that was back-and-forth the entire time. In between games, the mentality was to shake off the loss in the first game and reset. Reset they did and it all started right out of the gates when Mayhem put up 6 runs in the top of the first. Beast and South Shore Sharks Split Saturday DH

The first game was well contested the entire way through and saw South Shore win by a 3-2 final score. The second game could not have been any more different as Beast took the early lead and never looked back as they took that game by a final score of 12-3.
