The game would end after only 3 innings with a final score of 20-6. The conditions were most definitely a factor but the Chiefs caught fire in the cold winds.  The Chiefs would send out Vinny Heller to the mound to start, he took care of the bombers pretty efficiently, only allowing one base runner in the inning while also forcing weak contact to allow for easy outs for his defenders behind him. The 12u organization ran their overall record to 226-21 after their 12-0 shutout victory in the East Coast Labor Day Bash over the EEP Bandits. As can be seen by the score, they are not just winning tournaments, but they typically win in run-rule fashion against some of their toughest opponents. This game was particularly impressive, as they were able to chase the Bandits’ starting pitcher before recording an out. They posted four runs with the first coming on an RBI ground out by starting pitch...

Quiñones did give up a run early to the Chiefs when Matthew Sharon hit an RBI Single to center field that gave the Chiefs an early 1-0 lead. In the bottom of the first, Quiñones took matters into his own hands and he hit an RBI infield single to the shortstop to tie the game at 1.  After this, both Ben...
