The Bandits pushed across the only run that they would need in the top of the first inning. Todd Segarra was hit by a pitch, and as a result of some sloppy defense by the Ducks, came around to score the first run of the game. In the bottom of the inning, the Ducks did threaten to score, working back to back walks with two outs. Through a furious rally in the final inning, the Farmingdale Greendogs successfully pulled off a comeback victory against LIB Roar. The Greendogs struck first. After a leadoff single and stolen base by Anthony Mancuso, Mateo Morales ripped a line drive double to left-center field. However, while trying to stretch it into a triple, Morales was thrown out at third. The Greendogs worked the bases loaded, but were unable to add on to their lead. A combination of some sloppy defense by the Greendogs, as well as patience at the plate by LIB led to them answering right back, putting up three runs of their own in the bottom half of the first inning.
