It also lets us know to expect playoff style baseball. Luckily for the Longwood Lions and the B1000 Seminoles-Parise, the weather held at a beautiful moderate temperature for some championship baseball. The 12u squad has been an absolute force on the Long Island baseball scene and they continued their dominance this weekend with a perfect 5-0 weekend, as they outscored their opponents by the score of 68-11. B1 got on the scoreboard early as they got a run across on a single and back-to-back stolen bases by their leadoff hitter Charles Lamarca who would come home on a wild pitch. Both pitchers would be lights out the first 3 innings as each pitcher only allowed 1 base runner.
