The game was close in the fifth inning when Nick Yip hit his fifth home run of the season to open up a 3-1 lead. Christian Faust opened the game up with a two-run double in the seventh inning. Faust finished with three hits and two RBI. Michael Cardino had two hits and drove in two. That was not the case on Tuesday, as they narrowly edged Drew University 5-3, and it took a seventh inning run to break the tie.The Panthers were down 2-1 in the fourth inning but tied it up on a sac fly by catcher Carlos Balmaceda to score Jacob Coners.Drew took the lead in the fifth inning on a bases loaded walk against Justin Mize. After the batter, Nick Schoen came in and relieved Mize. They won the first game 2-1 on a walk-off two-run single by Robert Chavarria which scored Cole Peragine and pinch runner Billy McLean.Daniel Zamora threw a seven inning complete game. He allowed only one run, struck out nine, walked two and allowed four hits. It was his third win of the season. The offense was stagnant for six innings, but they came through when it mattered most.
