They got out to an early 2-0 lead in the second inning on a bases loaded walk by Dylan Piscitelli, followed by an RBI single by Chris Appell.They employed a pitcher-by-committee method as Cody McPartland started and threw three shutout innings. He was relieved by Nick Persad, who contributed two shutout innings.
