Panthers Edge Kutztown

Written by Michael Parchinsky The sun was shining on William J Bonomo field on Wednesday when the Adelphi Panthers won their second straight game–this time a 3-2 pitcher’s duel against Kutztown University Bears. The Panthers used six pitchers to navigate through the game–with Kyle Garrison earning the win with two shutout innings of relief. He was backed by an offense that jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the fifth but was dormant after that. They produced only three hits, with Donato Signore accounting for two of those. The Bears stepped to the plate first. The first two batters, Brady Carras, and Brady McNab, were set down in order. Their third hitter, Ryan Cox got on base via a single to right/center field.
