The game started off slow on the offensive side of the ball as there were some strikeouts and nice defensive plays preventing runners from getting on base. The starting pitcher from the Brooklyn Bonnies, Ahsan Torres, was locked in from the start keeping the Port Washington Legends offense at a halt. His counterpart, Cooper Blank, the starting pitcher for the Legends was keeping the Bonnies in check.  The Bonnies got on the board in the top of the 2nd after a leadoff single led to a stolen base and RBI from Brooks Lewis.
