While competing in a highly competitive Class A conference last season, they finished with a record of 2-18 and missed the playoffs. “We were extremely young with multiple middle schoolers on the roster.” LoRusso said. “We will still be young again this year but we are hoping to be able to bridge the gap to compete. Despite being as young as we were, we fielded to a 91% success rate, which is something to build off of.” They only graduated one senior last year, center fielder Kyle Prisco. Locust Valley Enters 2024 With Youthful Team

A satisfying finish to the 2023 season for the Locust Valley Falcons left the team with a 12-11 record. Head Coach Brian LoRusso took his team to the playoffs but lost in the first round to Carle Place in a three-game series. Now heading into the 2024 season, LoRusso looks to build off of last year’s success with a young team at its core. “We graduated a large part of our team,” LoRusso said. “We only have three returners this year. Two are sophomores and the other is a senior.
