LI Jr. Ducks South and LI Storm Split Sunday Matinee DH

Game one saw Lucas Chatterton pitch for the Storm and Brandon McLanghlin pitch for the Ducks. The Ducks would get runners in scoring position in the first, but Lucas Chatterton would calm down and strike out the next 3 batters with good pitch execution. The Storm would take the lead after a Zach Fabus walk to lead off the inning who took second base on the next pitch. Both pitchers were on their A game pitching to contact with the defense behind them making the plays Next Level would be able to break through in the second inning as they would be able to string together a walk and an RBI single from Collin Anderson to take the lead 1-0. Followed by an RBI double from Ryan Surdich making the score 2-0. Ryan would come in to score on an E8 to extend the lead to 3-0. East Coast Lumberjacks Roll to Run-Rule Victory

The Lumberjacks would jump on the board early as they showed great plate discipline with the first 3 batters all working walks and scoring their runs on 2 hit-by-pitches and walks making the score 5-0. The Titans would get on the board first with 4 walks in the bottom of the first giving them a 1-0 lead. Alex Bono would hit an RBI single making it 2-0. Another run would score on a wild pitch giving the Titans a 3-0 lead at the end of the first inning. B1 got on the scoreboard early as they got a run across on a single and back-to-back stolen bases by their leadoff hitter Charles Lamarca who would come home on a wild pitch.  Both pitchers would be lights out the first 3 innings as each pitcher only allowed 1 base runner. LI Sharks Capture 13u TOB Fall Classic Championship

The game started with 3 scoreless innings as both Ben Walsh and Ethan Arita would make quick work of the opposing teams lineup.  The LI Sharks could smell blood in the water as they were able to load the basses in the top of the fourth on a hit by pitch and 2 consecutive walks. Titans starting pitcher Dylan Girard helped himself out by getting an RBI single to make the score 1-0 Titans at the end of the first. LIB-Prime Complete Double Header Sweep in Sunday Matinee

They started the game off hot with good discipline at the plate with a total of 5 hits and 2 walks in the inning making the score 5-0 before their pitcher even took the mound. Ben Cohen, Jacob Kouba, and Ryan Tullo all had RBI hits during the inning.  In the top of the fourth inning, LIB-Prime’s bats were at it again with back-to-back 2-run doubles from Ryan Buckhalt and Jacob Kouba to extend their lead to 9-0.  Sawyer Bogaty was basically untouchable for LIB-Prime until the fourth inning when Yeti was able to get bases loaded...
