Previously, we featured Miguel Sime Jr, Matt Cruz, Luke Coats, Michael Gardner, Tyler Scarry. and Kenny Meliere Make sure to check out Eye Q Investigations by clicking here) Body Armor Titans 2026 had a deadly lineup this season and that all began with their leadoff hitter Jaiden Zoller. He put together some video game numbers that would make Rickey Henderson jealous. He batted .484 with a .590 OBP, 1.214 OPS, scored 51 runs and drew 23 walks against just 7 strikeouts. Just as importantly, he committed zero errors in center field. Strong defense up the middle and an OBP-machine at the top of the lineup is a great start to putt...

Up Next Powered by Eye Q Investigations: Luke Coats

(This is the third installment of the popular ‘Up Next’ Series in which we highlight the top underclassmen on Long Island. Previously we featured Miguel Sime Jr and Matt Cruz. Make sure you check out Eye Q Investigations by clicking here.) His freshman season in high school hasn’t even begun and already Luke Coats has turned many heads. Early in June, he was named the MVP of Perfect Game’s East Coast Qualifier in which Body Armor went 5-0. In July, he was one of the best performers at the Blue Chip Prospect’s Northeast College Coaches Camp when he was sitting in the low 80s in front of 24 coaches. Then, he went out and won Axcess Baseball’s Home Run Derby by putting on an absolute clinic in the finals with double digit home runs. Not to be outdone, he we...

Up Next Powered by Eye Q Investigations: Nick Frusco

(This is the second installment of the 2022 Up Next Series Powered by Eye Q Investigations, where we highlight the top underclassmen on Long Island. This is a 10-part series. You can read the first one on Miguel Sime Jr. by clicking here. All of these uncommitted players should have a huge impact on their high school teams this season and eventually will be Division-I players). The only thing more coveted than left-handed pitching is flame-throwing left-handed pitchers. We’ve been fortunate on Long Island to have a long list of great ones. While it is certainly early on in the process, Miller Place appears to have a pretty talented one in sophomore southpaw Nick Frusco. He first put himself on our map at our July showcase where he was sitting in the low to mid 80s and touching 85. Th...

Following a walk, Jack Durso would showcase some excellent two strike hitting as he put a ball ...

He continued that momentum right into the summer season for Body Armor Titans 16u. On a beautiful Saturday morning at the PAL Complex, the right hander worked quickly and efficiently as he struck out 12 batters over 6 innings, allowing just one run on an RBI ground out in the top of the sixth inning. Following the game, Gluck noted that his goal was “just to get some work in and find the zone,” he added that he’s “working with a new catcher and trying to get on the same page with him.” The ...

Body Armor Defeats Next Level, Continuing Their Dominant Summer

by Gabe Zoda After the game we spoke to Dalton Rutt after his dominant performance on the mound (3.1IP, 6Ks, 0ER) pic.twitter.com/G443Piw0xp — Axcess Baseball LI (@axcessbaseball) August 6, 2021 Imagine being 15 years old and being able to play baseball at a professional baseball stadium.  That is exactly what the Body Armor Titans and Next Level Baseball were able to do while playing in the LI Boys of Summer 15u National Division. They faced off in what was sure to be a good game and when you are in Ducks Stadium, you are guaranteed “Good Times Every Time”.  The Body Armor Titans would end up soaring above their competition by winning by the score of 5-1. They would start the scoring early as they scored the first run of the game in the bottom of the 1st.  This “quack” attack, or quick at...

Body Armor Titans and LIB Vexxum Tie, 2-2, in Exciting Game

by Gabe Zoda Got to speak with Brayden Soutar after the game after his 1-2 1RBI day at the plate and his 6 2/3IP, 4Ks day on the mound. pic.twitter.com/J5dwxR3bpN — Axcess Baseball LI (@axcessbaseball) July 21, 2021 If there was a definition of what a humid summer day feels like, this double header would be exactly it. LI Boys of Summer had some 15u action yesterday between the Body Armor Titans and LIB Vexxum.  The first game of the DH they played was close but at the end it would be the Titans taking it by a score of 3-1 but the second game is what was even more exciting and thrilling to watch.  That second game would end in a 2-2 tie but without a couple of crucial performances from a couple of players , that tie wouldn’t have happened.  After winning the first game, the Body Armor Tita...

Dylan Johnson: What Christmas Means to Me

(Editor’s Note: Dylan Johnson is a 2021 graduate of Newfield HS. He is committed to St. John’s University. He is expected to anchor the Wolverines rotation once again this season. He really came into his own in 2019 after Newfield lost their ace in the preseason which propelled him into the role of staff ace. He handled the challenge and he will be counted on to lead the charge in 2020.) The importance of Christmas to me is more than just presents and food. Christmas is the celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ. That is the reason of the season and I wouldn’t be where I am today without my faith. A tradition my family does is every Christmas Eve we go to my aunt’s house on my dad’s side of the family and celebrate. On Christmas day first thing we do is wake up and go to church and then ...

As a scout, it’s easy to stay quiet and walk away if you’re bored. As a reporter, you have to try to make something out of nothing. Being that I am both, I have to walk that fine line of telling the truth as a scout but generating buzz as a reporter. Other times, it’s really easy. An example of this was on November 8 at Prospect Sports for a ...
