He took the challenge and ran with it–firing six strong innings against a strong Bellport team in Deer Park’s 8-0 shutout victory. He was opposing Preseason All-Long Island Ryan Baumann and both pitchers danced in-and-out of trouble in the first few minutes. Belotti hit leadoff batter Anthony Jacabacci and allowed a hit to Baumann before stranding both runners in the first. He also walked two batters in the second inning but escaped unscathed. A year later, they are without some of those impact players such as Joseph Greco, Matthew Mulligan, Adam Colon and Michael Sangiamo. Fortunately, they are returning 10 of their players from last season including Southern New Hampshire-commit Ryan Baumann, LHP Anthony Jacabacci, Muhlenberg-commit Trevor Virno, Will Romano, Andrew Veit, among others. They also have added first-year players Thomas Alloca, Carson Nagle, Josh Wilson, Maxwell Kaczmarek, Samuel Hampson, Christopher Colon, Dimitri Arresto, Maximmo D’Giacomo and Brandon Bermudez.
