by Matthew Cataruzolo Westbury, NY — Batting 1000 made a strong first impression with a victory over the LI Storm at Eisenhower Park on Friday night. A rout of offensive firepower combined with a strong pitching performance gave Batting 1000 the advantage and eventually emerge victorious.  Back-to-back one-two-three innings for both teams indicated the possibility of a low scoring game. Batting 1000 starting pitcher Chrish Patel remained virtually unhittable throughout the game, and his offense provided him with plenty of run support. The bottom of the second inning saw a barrage of offensive firepower from Batting 1000. B1000 Seminoles Host Scout Day

by Andrew Connors Showcases are an outstanding place for young ballplayers to put their skills on display for multiple college coaches all at once. On July 13th, local travel organization Batting 1.000 Seminoles put on their own showcase where players in their organization showed off their talents for coaches from various Division-I and Division-II schools. Some notable colleges that were in attendance include Seton Hall, Mercy, St. Thomas Aquinas and Sacred Heart among others. Once the showcase’s morning session concluded, Sacred Heart’s assistant coach, Wayne Mazzoni, delivered an excellent speech to the players and surrounding coaches. by James Ryder Forever 9 Field was the site of the first game of a Father’s Day double header at Norman J Levy Lakeside School. The 11u game featured the Batting 1.000 Seminoles and the Islip Owls. The Seminoles, behind Matty Tolipano’s bat and the arms of Braydon Seligman and Derek Yormack, dominated in a 6-0 victory. It didn’t take long for Batting 1.000 to gain the lead, as they scored half of their runs in the bottom of the first inning.
