by Trevor Dugan B1 Ghost Stewart and Elite Tomaselli met this afternoon for a doubleheader at PAL stadium. Entering the day the Elite were 0-2 in Boys of Summer play, while B1 was 2-0. GAME ONE In the first game of the day, the Elite started Lincoln Blind on the mound, while B1 sent out Brendan Ohl. Blind fired a 1-2-3 first inning, and his offense was quick to strike in the bottom of the frame. Outfielder Nick Morello led off the game for the Elite with a long triple to right center field. He was driven in with an RBI groundout, and the Elite led 1-0 after the first. After a scoreless second inning, the B1 offense came alive to score four times in the third. Two runs scored on wild pitches, while another was knocked in by Jake Mileski. He finished with one RBI and one run scored. Dur...
Tied again! Jalen Josey comes through with a 2-out, 2-strike RBI single and it’s 3-3 as we head to the 9th pic.twitter.com/cSDmQT8C5G — Axcess Baseball LI (@axcessbaseball) May 27, 2024 Coming off a magical ride in 2023 which included capturing the NY State Catholic League Championship, it was a bit of a youth movement for the Holy Trinity Titans. Even so, they were able to get hot at the right time and reach the CHSAA Finals against St. Anthony’s. Josey was a bright spot for the Titans. After getting called up from JV halfway through the season, all he did was go 12-for-38 (.316) with 2 doubles, 2 triples, 10 RBIs and 9 runs scored. He came through with a clutch game-tying hit in extra innings of the finals. This past week he announced his verbal commitment to Stony Brook University...

After a scoreless first inning, B1 Ghost jumped to a 2-0 lead in the second. Scibilia sent the first runner in with an RBI single, and then a second crossed due ...
by John Sullivan Postgame interview with Jonathan Moya, who went 5 and a third with only 1 run given up on 3 hits and 6 strikeouts pic.twitter.com/zyBXvQsIFo — Axcess Baseball LI (@axcessbaseball) July 11, 2024 After dropping game 1 of the doubleheader to B1 Ghost, LIB Prime was poised to jump on B1’s starter, Jonathan Moya. LIB lead off batter, Frank Stella, did just that, as he ripped the first pitch he saw down the left field line for a double. Alex Catania and Dylan Babek then both worked walks to load the bases with no outs. Anthony Sanchez then came through with a single the other way to put LIB up 1-0. With the bases loaded, no outs, and 1 run already scored, it looked like a possibly disastrous inning for B1. But, luckily for them, Moya settled down in a big way and get two backwar...
by John Sullivan Postgame interview with Chase Bocchi, who went 4 and a third with no runs, 3 hits and 6 strikeouts, and John Brown, who went 2 for 2 with a single, double, and 2 RBIs pic.twitter.com/BmSlcMeCIj — Axcess Baseball LI (@axcessbaseball) June 11, 2024 B1 Ghost knew they had a challenge ahead of them on Tuesday night, as they went up against Mike Cuomo’s talented Long Island Elite team who entered the game 5-0-1 in league play. Although the Ghost were underdogs and only 2-3 coming into the game, they knew they had a fighting chance because they sent Jonathan Moya, a hard-throwing right hander with a great breaking ball and solid command, to the mound. Unfortunately for B1, Moya didn’t have his A+ stuff at the beginning of the game and Elite took advantage of that. After Chris B...
by Gabe Zoda FINAL Longhorns: 9 B1.000: 6 pic.twitter.com/wCcfmvs93L — Axcess Baseball LI (@axcessbaseball) May 27, 2024 The 12u New York Longhorns used Memorial Day, a day meant to remember the heroes of our past, to make memories that will last a lifetime after defeating B1 Ghost Russo 9-6. The Longhorns used a six-run outburst in the fourth inning to push themselves to victory. The tone was set early when Joe “Moose” Agostino plated Gabe Hirschorn with a well-placed grounder. Hirschorn led off the game with a walk and worked himself over to 3rd on a couple of stolen bags. The Longhorns’ baserunning and timely hitting would turn out to be one of the main difference makers in this game. The Longhorns proved this importance in the second inning where they tacked on another run. Thi...
B1 Seminoles, one of the largest and most reputable travel baseball programs on Long Island, has merged with East Coast Ghost and will now be ‘B1 Ghost’. Co-owner, Michael Ferriggi, stated that they were approached towards the end of the fall season by East Coast Ghost with the prospects of expanding their brand to Long Island confident that B1 would be a perfect representative to partner with given their reputation created by their Seminoles organization.
