Yesterday, the finals took place between the Titans-Messina and the 495 Wolfpack. For the Wolfpack, this game served as a doubleheader as they played and beat the Jr. Ducks right before they took on the Titans. That game gave the Wolfpack some momentum going into the finals. That third inning was the reason the 12U 495 Wolfpack was able to complete a a four-inning rule-rule victory over the East End Aviators in a 4th of July Stars & Stripes Tournament game this afternoon. They got out to a quick start in this game, using three walks to load the bases for fifth-place hitter Andrew Chelius. He roped a two-run rule double to score Vaughn Steinert and Isaiah Gibbs to make it 2-0. They sent Kyle Lucas to the hill and he was in no rush to let that lead slip away.
