by George Caratzas Many of the early season southern tours are over for local teams as we start so see some college baseball back in the Northeast. Here is how all the action went down in week four.  Division I: Niagara 10, Stony Brook 9 Despite the cold weather, this was an offensive battle with the Purple Eagles taking an early 4-0 lead. A home run by Stony Brook’s Johnny Pilla and 11 walked handed out by the Niagara pitching staff allowed the Seawolves to climb back into the game. Stony Brook took an 8-5 lead after a three-run double by Luke Szepek, but Niagara’s Shawn Cameron came up with a two-run triple, before Jacob Brooks drove in the tying run with a single. As the second weekend of college baseball is in full swing, Saturday’s slate featured nine local teams in action. Here is all that went down: Division-I: Wake Forest 11, St. John’s 0 The Johnnies were blanked on Saturday as Wake Forest starter Matthew Dallas fired six innings of one-run baseball.  The big blow came in the third when Wake Forest took a 1-0 game, and turned it into a 6-0 advantage with a five-spot. Center fielder Ethan Conrad brought home a pair with a single before first baseman Jack Winnay hit his second longball of the game.  Four Demon Deacons tallied multiple hits while former St. John’s star Jimmy Keenan went 1-for-2 with two runs scored and two walks. It was an exciting day on the diamond for the local teams, and there was a huge milestone win as well. Without further ado, here’s how it went down: Division-I: Fordham 14, Harvard 10 These two teams squared off for the first time since 1936 and the Rams came out on top in a wild one that featured 24 runs on 28 hits at the USA Complex. Fordham had jumped out to an early 5-0 lead in the second innings, thanks to an RBI single by Reid Lapekas. But the bats came to play for both teams and Harvard would fight back, eventually taking a 10-8 lead in the sixth inning. Undeterred, the Rams tied it up on Andrew Kanellis double and took the lead for good with Matt Dieguez’ two-run single breaking the game open. Dieguez was the star offensively, going 4-for-5 with 3 RBIs and 2 runs scored...
