Division-I: Hofstra won an absolutely wild game, 14-11, against Delaware which featured 26 hits and 14 walks between the two teams. The Pride scored those 14 runs in just two of their innings with a five-spot in the second and nine in the seventh. The go-ahead run scored as part of that 9-run inning thanks to five bases loaded walks. Rob Weissheier further broke it open with a two-run single to left. In the first game, Redshirt junior Ethan Routzahn was credited with the victory, pitching two innings in relief. The game was locked at four heading in to the seventh inning, but the Red Storm broke it open with great hitting from the heart of their lineup. Senior Ryan Hogan led the team with two hits and two RBI in the game. Routzahn shut the door in the bottom half of the inning to secure the victory. In Game 1, UMASS took an early 2-0 lead against Sam Turcotte on a sac fly by Vinnie Martin and a an RBI single by Gerry Siracusa.
