GAME RECAP: Dodgers Nation Hold Off a Cardinals’ Comeback for Big Win

Dodgers Nation sent Constantine Cheung to the mound, who is a hard throwing right hander with a nasty breaking ball. For the Cardinals, Marco Visintainer, a strike thrower who hits spots and has good off speed, got the start.  Visintainer started things off with a quick top of the first. Coming into the matchup, Next Level sat atop the division with a record of 2-0 and a +11 run differential. While 110 was 0-1 and had a -6 run differential. This game didn’t feature a lot of offense from either side, finishing with a 3-3 tie once the final out was made. Next Level started the game with a run in the first inning. In two games, that seemingly were the polar opposites of one another, the Bulls won them both, 18-11 and 3-2 as they extend their winning streak to six wins to start the season, and the Sharks suffer their first two defeats of the summer.  Game 1 Coach Tom Viggiani and the player of the game Hunter Falcone. GAME RECAP: RVC Tigers Hold On For 4-2 Victory Over Queens/Nassau Lions

by Jacob Infald On the afternoon of June 9th, the RVC Tigers took on the Queens/Nassau Lions in a doubleheader on opening day of the ECYBL 9u Summer Showdown American League at Plainedge Park. In the first game of the doubleheader, a contest that featured strong pitching performances from both sides, the Tigers were able to manufacture enough runs to secure a 4-2 victory. The Lions were able to get on the board first after being able to manufacture a couple of runs early. After a strong first inning by their starting pitcher AJ Greene, Jonathan Raudales was able to hit a one out single to right field for the game’s first base runner.
