Yesterday the Stony Brook Sea Wolves defeated NYIT by the score of 3-2 to move to 10-9. They have now won 10 of 13 since their 0-6 start. Suffolk County baseball opened up its regular season yesterday in a big way. Not one, not two, but three no-hitters were thrown. In League II, Dennis Buckstein of Sachem North fired a 14-k no-no against Whitman. It was the first no-hitter in 15 years for the program. The Flaming Arrows were victorious 2-0. Stony Brook swept Albany and they are now back to .500 on the season at 9-9. Aside from the no-hitter, Brandon McNitt also fired a complete game in the 6-2 victory in the middle game.
